Worship Greeters

Do you like to meet new people? Greeting at the church entrance on Sunday morning is a wonderful way to say hello to new and old friends. For more information, contact Whitney Hatcher.

Scripture Readers

Scripture readers read the scripture for Sunday worship and special services. For more information, contact Whitney Hatcher.

Communion Servers

Come deepen your faith by offering communion during regular Sunday worship and other services. Participate in this ancient rite as we share the bread of life and the cup of blessing with all.

Communion Servers is a ministry team of the Worship Ministry. Servers are needed once a month to assist the clergy in offering the elements of bread and juice to the congregation. Everyone age 8 and older is welcome to participate. A brief training is offered on Sunday prior to worship. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for worship the first time you serve. A more detailed training will be offered for those interested.

Consider volunteering once a quarter. For more information, contact Kymberly Pectilidis.

Visual and Worship Arts Ministry

Dressing the worship space helps us catch a glimpse of heaven’s beauty. Visual arts are creative expressions that celebrate God and the gifts we’ve been given. Everyone is invited to participate in this ministry or help develop materials to support worship on a regular or seasonal basis. This includes the banners and other decorations for Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, and Easter. For more information, contact Sarah Peters.

Music Ministry

Praise God through Song – Music is an integral part of not only our worship liturgy, but it is also a way that you can offer praise to God. If you like to lift up your voice in song, consider joining the Celebration Choir. Our Celebration Choir leads us in worship and during special seasons such as Advent and Holy Week. Our Handbell Choir performs several times a year, including during special seasons.

Prior singing or handbell experience is unnecessary; all you need is a heart willing to sing a joyful noise unto the Lord. A bonus benefit is getting to know new people.

If interested in more information, including a current practice schedule, please reach out to Director of Worship Arts, Elizabeth.

Sunday Morning Kids Worship Helpers

Join us on Sunday Mornings for Kid’s Worship! We begin with a song or two, followed by a Bible story. The kids then participate in activities and games to reinforce the Bible story theme. No prep work is involved! Just show up and enjoy spending time with our youngest disciples! Please contact Rev. Renee if you have any questions or are interested in serving.
