Worship Greeters
Do you like to meet new people? Greeting at the entrance door to the church on Sunday morning is a wonderful way to say hello to new and old friends. Consider volunteering once a quarter – click here. For more information, contact Kymberly Pectilidis or Rev. Lisa.
Sunday Morning Kids Worship Helpers
Join us on Sunday Mornings for Kid’s Worship! We begin with a song or two, followed by a Bible story. The kids then participate in activities and games to reinforce the Bible story theme. No prep work is involved! Just show up and enjoy spending time with our youngest disciples! Please contact Rev. Renee Delgado if you have any questions or are interested in serving.
Meal Ministry
When a change in life (illness, death, birth, etc.) occurs, the most basic needs are often pushed aside to deal with what life has thrown at you. Our Meal Team Ministry prepares and delivers meals to those with more pressing concerns than trying to figure out dinner. If you are passionate about cooking and providing relief and comfort to others, please consider joining the Meal Team. Each meal team has several members. You may be called to prepare a portion of a meal approximately once a quarter. This is a wonderful way to help and support our Good Shepherd family. Contact Jessica Martin to learn more.
Prayer Shawls
Since February 2005, Good Shepherd has given more than 1000 prayer shawls to friends, family, and members. Prayer shawls are tangible symbols of God’s presence and comfort. The need is tremendous, and there is a place for you in this ministry. If you knit and/or crochet, please consider making a shawl. We would love to teach you if you do not know how to knit or crochet. You can also help by purchasing yarn. To be added to our email distribution list, contact Clare Dunn.
