At Good Shepherd, we strive for all of our programs to help us become more like Jesus Christ. For us, it’s all about being like Jesus. The way we become more like Jesus is to live as Jesus did and taught us.
There are opportunities for all ages (children, youth and adults) to be involved in Bible study and small groups where we learn how Jesus lived. In small groups, we get to know one another better and we realize how important it is to share the journey together.
We not only learn what Jesus did but we put it into action by living as Jesus through taking care of others, clothing the naked, visiting and feeding the hungry. Our Caring ministry enables us to reach outside of ourselves – individually and as a community. Prayer shawls that are made by the hands of many have been sent all around the world as symbols of hope. Sometimes the most effective way we can share is by offering our time such as when we have dinner with CARITAS guests or coffee in Wistar Hall with someone who needs to talk.
We hope you will find a place to connect and belong here at Good Shepherd.
