Mental Wellness

As stated by the World Health Organization, “There is no health without mental health.”  In the course of a lifetime, not all people will experience a mental illness, but everyone will struggle or have a challenge with their mental well-being (i.e., their mental health) just like we all have challenges with our physical well-being from time to time.

Good Shepherd offers the resources below as you seek to live well.

United Methodist Family Services – offers support and resources for families and individuals as they journey through life’s transitions and situations.

National Alliance on Mental Illness – the Central Virginia NAMI offers peer-to-peer support groups and other programs for individuals and families living with mental illness.
