Each of us is a unique person, created by God with particular personalities, physical attributes, and talents. Spiritual Gifts are another aspect that makes us distinct. They enable followers of Jesus Christ to play important roles in the life of their church through the use of their particular mix of spiritual gifts.
Spiritual gifts are not our talents or skills. They are the grace of God at work within us, empowering us to match our deep passions with the world’s deep need. The gifts are given to individuals, but they are given to build and strengthen community and to meet the needs of those around us. We are given these gifts for the benefit of others: our families, our friends, our work, and our church. As a result, it’s important to discover your spiritual gifts.
The Spiritual Gifts Inventory Tool is designed to help you discover your spiritual gifts. Begin the journey. Discover your gifts. You have been gifted. You have been given a purpose.
To get started in discovering your Spiritual Gifts, click here to take the Spiritual Gifts Inventory.
If you prefer to print the Spiritual Gifts Inventory and mail it to the church office, click here. The form is double-sided with the church address on the back. Please consider completing a Sharing Our Gifts Commitment Form. This form, in partnership with the Spiritual Gifts Inventory, will help you discern your place of ministry and service both at Good Shepherd and in the world. The Sharing Our Gifts Commitment form is available here for you to print. Copies are also available at the church.
